About Me
I’m Victoria Windham, and Windham Online Therapist is my practice in Charleston, SC. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and addiction specialist. I don’t have a physical office. Every session is online, and I work with clients in Charleston and across North and South Carolina. I support adult men and women, couples, and families. They often arrive with anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, or substance use and other addiction-related issues. Some feel flooded by emotion or disconnected from themselves. Some turn to substances or numbing behaviors to cope. Others are partners or family members of someone with an addiction. With them, I focus on clearer communication, healthier boundaries, and their own well-being.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Winthrop University. I’m fully licensed as an LISW-CP and LCSW in North Carolina and South Carolina, and as an LCAS in North Carolina. I also completed extensive EMDR training and earned my EMDR-Trained Psychotherapist certificate from the Trauma Therapist Institute, an EMDRIA-approved provider. In sessions, I’m honest, caring, and collaborative. I look beyond symptoms to your relationships, past experiences, family system, and nervous system. Together we notice repeating patterns, understand your emotional responses, and choose changes you can sustain. As needed, I use CBT, EMDR, family systems work, nervous system healing, and inner child and reparenting work. These help with online trauma therapy, emotional awareness, and everyday challenges, and they build stronger relationships with yourself and others. I picture healing as a willow: deeply rooted, yet flexible. The path may include progress, uncertainty, rest, and renewed growth. My aim is a space where you can speak openly and move toward a balanced, authentic, fulfilling life.
